MY band is ME and Uncle steve helping me alot!He's a great player of many instruments,and has worked and mixed many songs for me,I'm still an Amateur but have been writing for years.I write all types of songs from metal hard rock,last few years been swayed to christian pop.ballads ect....Hope to get at least 2 songs done in a studio.see how I would sound professional.(FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
When I worked at a restaurant/nightclub in 1988 I was fortunate enough to sing the lead with an established band. But, mostly I just play in front of family members and friends.
Your musical influences
My musical influences have been Chris Deburg, Amy Grant, Dire Straits, Elvis, and THE NEW UNCLE STEVE BAND, who is also on sound click. My music is very assorted from some heavy metal, to pop rock, to christian pop rock and mostly ballards.
Anything else?
Some of my songs would come from dreams, life experiences or simply being inspired by a picture. I would write lyrics to songs on scraps of paper and had over 20 uncompleted songs in a 20 year period. when I turned 40, I made up my mind to complete all the songs to make a cd. My Uncle Steve, Aunt Lil,and my mother, gave me much support and encouragement that influenced me to pursue my dreams of becoming a musician.
