I'm Talkin' Trash
I pretty much do everything solo. The only beat that was made for me was the beat to "I Like My Bike". I write my own lyrics, make my own beats, and I take a lot of pride in that.
Band/artist history
In 2004, I began rapping with my good friend, Kevin Rogge while we were in Iraq. After a year of fun and games, we decided to call it quits, because it was something we did to relieve stress and spend time together. In 2009, some of my new Army buddies found some of my old rap songs and decided that I should come out of retirement but focus on comedy in my raps. I started down that path but I got more serious with my lyrics after a few songs.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I don't perform live because I don't have the time, money, or equipment to do so. I rap out of my basement, but anyone in the Florence, KY area is welcome to come to the basement to listen in.
Your musical influences
My friends were the one's who influenced me to get back into rap. As far as musical influences are concerned, I would have to say that Eminem is my most influential musician. His lyrics are amazing, and that's what I strive to be, a master lyricist.
What equipment do you use?
Computer,Windows XP sound recorder, Fruity Loops beatbox program, Microphone Pen, Pad, and Imagination.
Anything else?
I hope anyone who listens to my songs gets the message and doesn't necessarily judge the messenger. I know I don't have a rap voice, but I have a message that I want to be heard, so give it a chance before you pass judgement please. Enjoy.
