Prakalp
Prakalp, a symphonic hindi metal band from mumbai, has set a new trend by performing metal songs in clean hindi vocals.
they are a very fresh band(5 months old) and they are more known for their originals because they cannot cover songs in hindi as nobody has produced a hindi heavy metal album till date.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yes. we have played at malls like inorbit, the hub, crossroads and fun republic, played at several private gigs, been among the final four bands at sies powerchords '06 competition, runners up at rgit(mumbai) and vnit(nagpur), winners in all categories at piit(panvel) etc.
prakalp has headlined events at mmk college(bandra) and vcet college(vasai).
prakalp has also played at razz rhino for "global metal" documentary(the one and only Dr. Sam Dunn).
prakalp has competed at several other competitions.
we love playing our kind of music.
special moments - sies sion(elims and finals), the documentary shoot and piit college(winners).
we have got wonderful crowd response at every event. all the events are special to us.
What equipment do you use?
samick 5 string bass, behringer guitar, zoom 707II processor, samick les paul, yamaha psr 172 keyboard and a chancellor 5 piece drumkit with three zbt crash rides.
15 watt behringer amp for the guirat and some 100 watt stranger bass amp for the bass.
