Hours become days; days become weeks; weeks become months and months become years. Holy Hip-Hop artists PraiZe has dedicated much of his time to writing and recording music, and to my immense satisfaction in this young man, his dedication has paid off generously. After pondering on the subject of this young yet ingenious emcee, I soon realized the true embodiment that PraiZe represents. To me he is more than a mere emcee who simply preaches Gods word through Hip-Hop; PraiZe is an ideal example of a true underground Gospel Hip-Hop artists. Through the years I have watched PraiZe grow, in his lyrics, his delivery, his flow but most noticeably, the sharpness and clarity of his message. In his song he did with female rapper Elle Es titled 1 Love, 1 God, 1 Way, he was able to the capture emotion that are beyond the reach of todays most famous rap artists. He ingeniously integrates a grimy chorus with simple, yet exceptionally deep lyrics, and verses that could blow the mind of even our top icons such as Tupac, Dr. Dre and Biggie Smalls. As of now, PraiZe has yet to release a full length EP, he has stuck with doing individual songs and putting them on online forums and communities. This is soon to change. As I write this, PraiZe is hard at work constructing new hooks, writing fresh verses and conjuring up mind boggling metaphors and plays on words. His soon to be released album A New Start will have sixteen brand new songs to nod your head too. For the past few months I have been very anxious to hear this up coming EP. I know that PraiZe has grown as an emcee to a point where every song of his I hear, I will enjoy it as much as I would any other major artists. As exiting as it is for me to work with a phenomenal emcee like PraiZe, I am even more excited to hear his solo project. I can say with certainty it will be an album, not soon forgotten!Have you performed in front of an audience?Yeah, some small things for school functions. Other than that no...I am more focused on improvement than anything.
