"Living Life To Da Fullest"
Band/artist history
1998, was a year of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. It was about growth and development. Unknowingly our lives would take a change. An allegiance would be formed, some would follow suit others would be left behind. Prime (Lorenzo Sam), Intox-icated (Jeffrey Andersen), and Blitz Krieg (Christopher Brown) were this allegiance. And it would be known as "TRI-COAST". They were three young playahs from three different coasts able to comprise their thoughts on paper, and then unleash them through music. At first, "It was all a dream" and for two of dedication is slowly became a reality, the first release; "Tha Drunk Drivin EP" was an underground ghetto success with over 350 copies sold with no promotion. Playahs walk the path they choose to and sometimes those paths are different, and in 2000, Blitz Krieg began to walk his own. Now Prime and Intox-icated were left with 2/3 of a dream. But that was not a problem. A little focus and some new equipment upgrade and the "Triple Coast Compilation" was born. But we didnt feel ready just yet, so very few ears heard that musical creation.
2002, was a year of adaptation and rebuilding. Nonstop (Eric Hughes) introduce himself to Tricoast; native of Georgia his track record is in a class of it's own with nonstop flavorful flow. Intox-icated, Prime, Nonstop, and T-Roy all sat down and discussed the future of this allegiance. After long debates and numerous conversations a change of name was established. No longer would we be known as "TRI-COAST" we would forever be known as "Playahs Paradise Entertainment" better known as "PPE". At this time PPE consisted of three artists and a manager. So, now that we had a new name and a new structure we needed a new product. With more focus and more equipment upgrades, trials and tribulations, blood, sweat, and tears - PPE emerged with the first release "Volume 1: Collateral Damage". Performing songs at small bars, and parties to gain exposure, and also selling the album out of trunks, PPE sold enough copies from this album to incorporate and expand from a small group of inviduals with ideas into a unified company with goals.
In 2003, two well-experienced artists stepped onto the PPE train, Vocab (Christopher Clemons) and Lethal (Joseph Billups). Vocab from Jersey been in the game laying down tracks for artist in the Jersey underground, Hip Hop & R&B genre; And Lethal a Floridian native and a veteran in the game who laid down multiple albums at other independent labels that unfourtunely didnt get the airplay they deserved. After each person seeing the dedication in everyone else, all five sat down and decided to join forces. When I say dedication I mean, these guys did enough songs for 3 albums in a matter of 5 months. PPE realized it is no longer only for fun or the love of the game, although it will always be fun for PPE to do music; PPE is mature and serious about making important decisions toward a common goal of success, its a business! Playahs Paradise Entertainment LLC, 04/26/04, embeded between Baltimore and D.C. consists of 5 owners Intox-icated, Prime, Nonstop, Lethal, & Vocab; along with a roster of artists and producers PPE is ready to take the torch and bring home the gold but not just for any major label.

All beats are negotiable $50-2,000 for set terms. Contact me for pricing on original instrumentals or sampled works.
For those who are unsure negotiations will include the following options.
No royalties / Set% of Rights = we will own all or a percentage of the rights to the beat this will be filled on the copyright transfer with the copyright office. If the song includes a sample and you want to release it commercially you must have the sample cleared. You can use the beat for all commercial(profitable) purposes there after. PPE also has to be given credit for being co writer of the song and has a say in what is done with the the beat but retains no royaties off the song back end. Prices range from 250-500 dollars.
No Royalties/ No Rights = This means you own the beat every thing, the rights, all monies that are made from the song. PPE relenquish all rights and entitlements from the song for one upfront set price. This would be the lest cost effective if you are on a tight budget. Prices range from 500-2,000 dollars per track. Remember the price is this high because PPE makes nothing on the back end. It is up to the owner of the copy right to release credit to PPE for creating the track.
Royalties / No Rights = We will negotiate a percentage of the royaties from either the mechanical royaties or the producer fee which is normally deducted from the mechanical royalties we will be paid accordingly and or credited for our participation on the the album for every unit sold. Our payment will be recieved by us only on that album or track unless other wised stated. PPE will recieve from 200 and below for this type of deal all other monies will be recived on the back end in the royalties. PPE will retain no copyrights to the song.
