Power Move
Power Move is just that, a powerful movement for music. Power Move has been together a little over a year, during which time they have sold (by hand) over 30,000 units of their self-titled, full-length album. Reef, Dev, Maine and J Flow are the foundation to which Power Move is built.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
J Flow, Power Moves producer, comes from a well-established musical background. Son of producer/songwriter Stafford Floyd, J experienced recording sessions and world tours with such artists as Madonna, Anita Baker, Jon B, and others. Reef & Maine spent their youth having "freestyle battles" on the streets of the Bronx, NY, before moving to Cali; while Dev spent many years in Los Angeles, CA as well as the Bronx, grinding his teeth in the underground rap scene. These four young men bring both east & west coast flavor to their music, allowing for a style and sound unlike any.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Power Move has played live at many venues throughout southern California, Texas, Las Vegas, and New York.
