Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We are merely one voice in the game....just tryin to elevate this young culture so we can grow into an adult genre...capable of creative and distinct styles.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah I play live...Live on the MPC, ASR, and Korg Triton, but seriously we add a l'il acoustic/electric guitar for live effects.
Your musical influences
I am heavily influenced by the golden era of hip-hop...the boom bap....a time in which originality was welcomed...the era in which pete rock, large pro, marley, prem, diamond d, buckwild, and dre dominated the air waves...plus the intricate instrumentation of 70 and 80 style R&B pioneers...and i stay wit now school producers like the roots/quarians, dilla, kayne, tek, blaze, elpee, alchemist, hav, rza, 9th, nicolay, my nicca Day (chop-e chop productions)...lovin all the up and coming producers...wheither major, minor or cyber.
