Poultry In Motion
Poultry In Motion
Humorous songs with a British feel...mostly due to the fact that I am British!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Poultry In Motion's first incarnation started in the South of England in my garage, in the Summer of 1994 (I think). Two friends (Alan H. and Phil B.) and I borrowed the school drum kit to work on our high school music exams.
At school in the following year a group of people (Me, Alan H., Sam H. and Steven M.) wrote a bunch of songs and recorded them on the school's old tape recorder.
We played a couple of gigs - a talent show and at a school music and drama night.
Also appearing singing with the group, were Krystal B. at the talent show and Louisa H. at school.
Almost 10 years later I listened back to the old songs and wanted to share them with the rest of the world.
I have also started to write some new songs along the same lines.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No plans to play live at present but you never know!
What equipment do you use?
Currently I have an Ibanez Jem, a custom built electric guitar, an epiphone acoustic, a Marshall preamp into a Peavey 50/50 Classic all tube power amp going to a 2x12 cab with Celestion G10s, Jim Dunlop Crybaby Original wah, D'Addario EXL140s, Jim Dunlop 2mm Stubbys, Zoom 505 multi effects (original) pedal, BOSS MT2 distortion pedal, BOSS DS1 distortion, DOD delay pedal.
