After realising the group wasn't getting far and never would with former member Taylor Jamros, Megan and Jenn searched for teens their own age that could sing and could keep up with where they wanted to go with their music. Luckily, they found Katie. Katie may be the newest member, but she fits in perfectly. The girls have since made changes to their music and are beginning to change their look. They are, after all, close to 16 years old. It's time for some more changes, but luckily not with a member this time.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
After putting up pictures of Play, Megan, Taylor, and herself, Jenn was inspired to start a group like Play. Taylor looked like Anna, Megan looked like Anais, and Jenn looked like Faye. They started working on their first song ever, 'Popstars United', and did a photo shoot on October 5, 2002. About a year later, Jenn decided that being like Play was just not going to work. Plus, Taylor's voice wasn't fit for the music industry. So, the two girls went on a search for a talented girl. Having no idea that Katie absolutely adored singing and even competed in it, Jenn asked her if she would like to try out. All three girls couldn't be happier that those few minutes happened. The girls are now the best of friends, even though they've only known each other for one year. "We basically have a year...well less than a year...behind us with kicking Taylor out and all". Let me tell you though, that was a good move. Now, they actually have a shot...and they're going for it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play every once in a while at parties or weddings.
