This all-female pop three-piece, based in the Big Sky Country of Montana, has completely taken the region, selling out shows throughout four states. Their first album "Relief" is even occupying time on Scotland's BBC Radio! Pope Jane was the featured regional headlining act two years running at the 10,000+ person event, ZooGrass. They were also called in at the last minute to be the regional headliner on the mainstage at the 8,000+ person event, Rockin' The Rockies, in Lewistown, Montana. And their outreach doesn't stop there. Pope Jane is very web friendly, with their URL address listed with 500 major search engines. The band is featured, mentioned, or linked on over 50 indie music websites, and Pope Jane has songs scheduled for play on 5 different Internet radio broadcasters across the country.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Oh Yeah! We love to play live. Lately we've been playing in the four state area, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington. We love Seattle. We have a great story about a show we did in Seattle with Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. We were on our way out of town and we stopped at store. From out of nowhere this naked crazy guy came running across the lot masturbating! Needless to say we were detained at the police station, because we called the cops. We made headline news in Billings before our big event in Seattle. That was pretty funny.
