Pomeroy
Pomeroy is the 4 year old brainchild of 5 Kansas City musicians whose vision has led to the creation of something compelling and unique. By blending elements of hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock and funk, Pomeroy has created it’s own musical niche. The band consists of two lead vocalists who rip the mic both lyrically and chromatically. Both voices ride upon a tight backdrop of bass heavy grooves, which support the melodic interplay of analog keys and guitar. Although the band pulls from many different genres for inspiration, Pomeroy’s sound remains focused and unique. Pomeroy sounds like Pomeroy. Listen and see for yourself. The band has logged hundreds of thousands of miles, and have written, recorded and produced 2 full length CD’s, which have sold nearly 15,000 copies in the United States. Yes. The shows are all over the midwest, Kansas, Colorada, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinios. Pomeroy does play shows outside of the midwest, especially during the summer.
