This song is entitled Tapurangi and is a Cook Islands song from the is land of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. It was performed by the people from the District of Puaikura during the Maeva Nui Festival honouring the attainment of self-government on 4th August, 1965. It is erroneously credited to Te Vaka Nui of Tokelau as Kapa Ku.Good melody and production about asking a question as to your identity on the landgot three hot new joints....check it out...All comments (4)

One of the finer tahitian drum displays I have heard. Predominately "stick and log" type percussion.
