Grammy nominated Hip Hop and R&B Super-Producer Poli Paul began his music career as a DJ at the age of 13. Fueled by watching Legendary DJ Jam Master Jay's skillful craft on television, he began practicing on his Mom's record player. After breaking it by attempting to scratch records, she immediatly realized he needed turntables of his own. Although he had been accepted into USC at the age of 11, His passion for music equaled his quest of higher learning. He continued to DJ for years thereafter, until the Infamous DJ Premiere spotted Poli at a local scratch competition. Being impressed with Poli's musical talent, he asked him if he had ever given thought to a career in production. Poli's break finally came while he was in Law School, at the age of 20. His production manager Yon Styles introduced him to another up and coming producer/artist by the name of Will.I.Am. This relationship led to Poli's production of The Black Eyed Peas' breakout single "Joints and Jams." The single went on to sell over 2 million copies worldwide from the "Bullworth" movie soundtrack alone, and won Poli both a Billboard and Blockbuster Award that year. At this point Poli realized his true calling to be a Producer. He left law school and went on to work with many talented artist such as: Jay-Z, NeYo, Omarion, Nas, Christina Milian, Blink 182, Backstreet Boys, Twista, Chingy, Teairra Marie, Teedra Moses, Nivea, Bravehearts, Luther Vandross, and many many more.
