Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
POETX is a Detroit based Hip Hop Artist. He has remerged into the Industry after a long break. POETX was signed under a different stage name, to a few different types of deals when he was age 17 and is now a seasoned veteran in the business. Since his remergence in 2004, POETX has very quickly established a name for himself and his eclectic style of Hip Hop, in the Detroit Music Scene.
POETX has performed and headlined for many packed events, at many prominent Detroit Concert Venues. Such as St. Andrews Hall, Clutch Cargos, The Majestic Theatre and The Emerald Theatre with the crowds at near capacity. The Debut LP for POETX, entitled "Tha Motions" is scheduled for a mid May 2006 release and is highly anticipated by his following. Projected local sales are 6-8,000 units in the 2nd quarter of 2006.
POETX draws a very high ratio of the female demographic to his shows and persona. He has the talent, music, look and charisma, that are sure to make him one of the next "Big Acts" out of Detroit and the Midwest Hub.
