Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started at RapBattles.com under the alias Rhymin' Rookie. Delyreeuz a.k.a. Icediggity got me started in it, and I just worked up from there. I changed my name to Poetri when I moved to EYM (Expand Your Mental). Since then, I've just been bouncing around to different message boards trying to find a home.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nope, I haven't had the chance to perform live yet.
Your musical influences
Jurassic 5, Sage Francis, Aesop Rock, K-OS, Nas, Jedi Mind Tricks etc.
What equipment do you use?
I use my dad's studio, but this is what we're running:
-TASCAM 788
-Blue-Tube Pre-Amp
-Studio Projects C1 Condenser Microphone
I don't make my own beats yet, so I just use what I've got on various CDs.
