Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Plush has been together in several previous incarnations for several years now. Originating in Texas, founding members Zak and Ron Vela made their way to California in search of the final member that would bring everything together. Finding a voice for the band proved to be harder than they expected. However, the band's deep conviction for their music never wavered. The band's persistence paid off when finding a new singer and a new name brought them even greater recognition than before! All members have been honing their craft since childhood, bringing together a blend of talents and influences that creates the band's unique style. The name Plush is no accident! The band's style is plush with sounds containing haunting vocals, heavy melodies, driving bass and heart felt lyrics.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live as often as we can with our busy schedules. There's nothing better thank playing live, meeting your fans and making new one's. Playing live is the ultimate high!
Your musical influences
We love all types of music when it comes to listening to music. But in Plush's music you can defanitely hear our influences are rock and pop based. We grew up with bands ranging from Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, and Kiss to The Pretenders, Go Go's and Blondie. It's all there in our music.
