Playbox Beats
Play Box Beats consists of two core members:
Sam Thomas (SoulSplit/Brokin)
Jayan Perera (Jayman)
We produce hip-hop, and slow acoustic instrumentals.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We met in a daycare centre. Then we met AGAIN in Primary school, where we formed a strong friendship. In secondary school, we started playbox up, which brings us to now. Two 15 year olds with a love for music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We live in Dartford/England. It's a good place to be. Starting up the group was awesome, and so was producing our first song.
Your musical influences
Sam: Old school hip-hop, as well as some of the new stuff. And rock influences my rhythems, sometimes.
Jayan: Rock and Hip-Hop
What equipment do you use?
PC's and Guitars.
