Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Simply characterized as being Plain Jane’s in society, this female duo captures their raw emotions and transforms them into a hip hop vibe with a mixture of urban new school and a taste of R&B.
They are independently promoting their debut CD entitled “From The Soul” by performing at a variety of venues and networking with many businesses and individuals including Home Grown Roots and Images Photography Studios.
Dawn “Superwomyn” Kent born and raised in Los Angeles County, California and Raquel “Unhooked” Johnson born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida began working together in 2000. After years of aspiring in different directions, Superwomyn as a producer and Unhooked as a solo artist, they began experimenting in 2006 and created a genuine, unique and authentic sound.
Plain Jane Muzik is the new school music and the beginning of a new era.

Yes we perform live mainly at local venues.
