Placeholder
Placeholder formed as a catalyst for emotional expression of music. The two founding members, both at separate moments in our lives, decided that getting together and expressing thought and emotion through an audio concept would benefit us in our own manner. Amphlux has been writing musical compositions for over a decade as a means of self therapy; Ace has been involved with music for nearly a decade as a classically trained musician and has recently delved into the art of writing, creating and composition of music. Amphlux and Ace have been friends since early childhood, relying on eachother for emotional and therapeutic support, and it only seemed natural that we could find common ground in what could be considered the language of life, music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Amphlux has been creating music since the 90s. He has done much self study in the art of musical theory as well as studio technical theory, and pieced together a studio that suits his everyday creative needs. Starting as a composer for classically themed piano sonatas and preludes, Amphlux has developed what he believes to be his own style of expression through years of inward reflection and outward perceptions.
Ace has had a love for music for as long as he can remember, delving into a vast variety of musical styles for contemporary listening. Ace has a knack for listening to a musical phrase and altering it to suit his own personality and style.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
