Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
This page is for the tracks previously recorded by PJMac. PJMac is an artist from Arabi, Louisiana, a town in the New Orleans metro area. He bursted out on the local scene in 1999 with his group Sol Trybe, and the record " Still On Top". Also known for his role in the "Fly Ride Boyz" PJMac co-produced and released the record "Fam 4 Life" in 2001. With hits like "Pop,Shake It", and " March, Step" " Fam 4 Life was a highly influental disc that year. Personal issues forced PJ to join the military later in 2001.
After two years off and a highly publicized seperation, PJMac went on to release his first official solo mixtape " King of Da Parish" which was herald to be the best cd ever to come out of st. bernard parish. On this record PJ was able to show his diversity in content which is unmatched. He showed his lyrical skills on songs like " King Of Da Parish" and " Fear and Love". His deep side on songs such as " These Eyes" and "Beautiful Day". His angry side in " It's Over" and " U Ain't Shit", and his ability to reach to females in songs like " U And Me" and " We Came To".
2006 PJMac released his second solo record " The Last Word". This was his first record which featured all original tracks. With guest apperances from Ovaflow, Stata Mind, Biddy Boy, Jon Nunez and others. This cd was a good follow up to the great debut. PJ shows more lyrical content on this record with songs like " Came In Tha Door". He also sows he still has that club feel with " Is It Cool".
At the end of 2008 PJ will release his 3rd effort " Validation". On this record he will reunite with old group members the "Fly Ride Boyz" and " Sol Trybe". He will also be a part of a new Fly Ride Boyz cd sometime this year.
We hope you enjoy this music.
