The Pilothouse story starts in Iowa. In a small town called Melcher-Dallas, William Wright and Chris Snook went to the same schools but didn't take notice of each other until their mothers started discussing their mutual love of music and arranged a get together in August 1982. They played their first gig together at a local contest in Knoxville, Iowa where they won 2nd place.Have you performed in front of an audience?Java Joe's Coffee House - Des Moines, Iowa.

Bill loves Billy Joel and Sting.
Chris listens to anything from Andres Segovia to The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Some of his favorites are: Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sister Hazel, Fleetwood Mac and Dan Fogelberg.
