PigfarmerJr is really only one guy. Me! My name is Tom Elliott and I've played guitar in a couple local bands and performed at open mic nights. (I almost picked the name Stage Fright.) I began writing songs as a teenager and in the past few years have actually begun to learn the craft. PigfarmerJr is my way of getting the songs not used by my band out of the notebook and out into the real world.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm located in central Missouri. I love it here. I play live very infrequently but would love to have time to do more of it. (Get out of the basement.)
Your musical influences
A heavy dose of the Holy Modal Rounders and the Arlo Guthrie and Pete Seeger album "In Concert" combined with Hendrix, SRV, Buddy Guy, Albert King etc etc.
My favorite band is the Bottle Rockets.
What equipment do you use?
El Cheapo acoustic guitars. When I turn electric I mainly use a MIM red sunburst Strat with hot rod pups through a reissue Super Reverb.
