Piff Vader
Yo, what's good? It's Piff Vader, and I'm starting my own genre called "Champagne Wishes & Animated Bitches", which is basically about being as creative as you can while making music that draws inspiration from other forms of media. I'm also the founder/in-house producer of The New Regime. We got a strong team, and we taking off into the stratosphere THIS YEAR. You can check me out at newregimegalaxy.blogspot.com, myspace.com/piffmatic2000xl, bandcamp.com/piffvader, and more coming soon! I'm down to do these beats full time, because I seen a whole bunch of producers charging for beats on here, with MILLIONS of plays. I got inspired by those guys, and I'm gonna step it up until I can make a living off of these beats. Shout out to Johnny Juliano, CHEMIST, Kajmir Royale, Superstar O, Kid Flash, Kane Beatz, Kingsmen, and more for showing me that you can still live a comfortable life doing what you love in the digital age...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I just met the Swim Team (KidRetro, Dmo Smoove, Monroe Duckets) in DECEMBER. I have been rapping since I was 7, and doing beats since I was 12. But, my parents moved from Chicago when I was younger to escape all the worrying that comes with being in a violent area...good for them....but, I was in a region that doesn't have any realistic prospects for an urban music artist. If you ain't Carrie Underwood or Reba, they ain't tryin' to fuck with you. I finally moved to Wichita, KS, (Home of XV) and now i feel like my life is finally starting.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Me and The New Regime/SwimTeamShark$ do shows around the Wichita, KS area...and when I was a little younger, I got to perform at a ceremony for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, and got personal music lessons from Blues legend DC Minner as a result.
