Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Phillyphatbeats, Born in Louisiana as a child moved to Califronia..AS a child had to go through it all, I wouldnt change one bit of it except the times that I was so hungry I couldnt concentrate..As a kid I was always fasinated with different sounds why I use to wait for dinner I use to be up in my room finding anything and everything that made a sound.. It got to the point that I would literally loose track of time. My mom always thought I had issues..LOL BUt when I heard my first California Rap group compilation NWA nigga from compton... I figured it out that I wanted to be a big time producer in make easy to flow too music like Dr.DRE so since I was always hungry as a child I decided to create a sound that was phat fulfilling .. like chilly and served hot with spice,and full of hip-Hop ( Phillyphatbeats,,..
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I refuse to play live I believe that my work is done inside the sound lab you get the finish product. (Thats like a coach trying sub for a tire player in the NBA... LOL ) My job is to sit back and watch my plan come to life through lyrical MC's,Who or hungry in have a strong will express themselves. I am like that Boxing Ring I provide the canvas so they can duke it out... SO know the ropes.. The audience is watching!!!
