This single release Hallowed Be Thy Name, the first from his debut album entitled Something 2 Say.
It was during the early years as a Gospel muscian my older brother Kenton wrote the song Hallowed Be Thy Name, which is based on the Lords Prayer. We were all babies, the keyboard player was eight years old, the drummer was nine, the singer was 13, I was 15 Together we played gospel music in churches all over England. It was touring with key artistes on crusades with evangelists such as Reinhard Bonnkee, which helped Philip develop a perspective that motivated him beyond the fame factor: The soul wining mentality was ignited.
In 2002, just before Philip began an evangelistic crusade in Sweden, called Soul 100, he heard the voice of the Lord say I am resurrecting Hallowed Be Thy Name. Philip held onto the word and ran with it. Just two years later he had produced not just Hallowed be thy Name but a whole album called Something 2 Say.
Every song is clearly about Jesus, and this fits perfectly with Philips calling as an evangelist. And the word from the Lord, which came once he completed Hallowed Be Thy Name was give the single away free, this supports the desire to touch hearts and free minds.
Hallowed Be Thy Name created another oppurtunity to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. I perform live nearly every week. Mostly in England, but I have had the oppurtunity to perform in Europe ,Jamaica, Grenada, Sweden, Spain, Scotland and the next stop is Ghana in a few weeks
