PeTer FRYD

I'm a rock guitarist and song writer from Denmark. At the moment I'm playing classic rock with The SpaceBass Band.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Rock'n'roll is something everyone can understand! As simple as that PeTeR FRYD and The SpaceBass Band stands for the classic rock we all in some way have grown up with. Whether that was from a big brother's or parents old LPs, we all got the genuine rock'n'roll in our blood, and therefore appeal The Space Bass Band for the great general public - for us who likes to party! The history in short First: I played in various rock and hard rock bands up through the 80s and 90s before I began working with the musical "Tide Philosophy". The play was never performed , but the music was a massive hit. Especially "Somewhere in the Light" got attention and has until now been downloaded more than 15,000 times. What's then?: In 2006 I was briefly in a little jamband, called The Bop, along with Brian Fridahl (drums) and my brother Ole (bass). The 2 boys created a fantastic rhythm section .. shit it was great! And so: In the early autumn of 2009 I recorded "The Night Ziggy Died", a song about David Bowie and his early-'70s band. The song went all the way up to No. 1 on Audiostreet.net, which I did't' see coming. I enjoyed / enjoy to create this kind of rock music. Lyrics and music does not always have to be be deep and be about depressions ... especially when you just want to have a good time. The next recording "A Last Goodbye" peaked as No 3 on the same chart. It was obvious: There is potential here - Get the boys and let's kick some ass..! That's what we doing now!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Due to some logistic difficulties at the moment it's not so easy for us to kick xxx, however it can't take long before I'm back on the road.
