Petar Ivkovic is a very talented Toronto-based musician, composer and producer. His diverse musical background contributed to the development of his talent just as much as his effort. He completed jazz performance and composition studies on three different continents between 1992 and 2002; Europe, South Africa and Canada. During that period he was heavily involved in the European, South African and Canadian jazz scenes until he came across some of the first acid jazz and electronic releases coming out of England. Since then he made Toronto, Canada his home (at least for a while) and he has been working with many great musicians, producer and DJ's in the area in many different capacities; Session musician, composer, arranger and producer. The name of his production company "Binary Funk Productions" is a concise and appropriate description of his career in the recent years. Although his career as a recording artist is still in its early stages this artist is definitely worth our attention. On the basis of his recently released material it is only a matter of time when he will become a significant name in the eyes of all who love music.
