perrine myers band
Hi thanks for checking out are page are goal is to play, have fun and play the blues. we have been working together for about 5 years. it might be a sin to have this much fun at this age.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My name is Barney Perrine. I have played guitar and sung professionally since 1977 when I first began performing with the original Desoto Rose Band. From 1980 through 1983, I played locally with Fat Chance. For the next seven years, I was the lead singer for KIDCO. With Aberdeen as our home base and the late great Wayne "Goose" Fleury as our drummer, KIDCO played at various clubs within a 150 mile radius. Two duets followed. The first was with Goose's older brother, Donn Fleury; the next six years were with Bruce Hughes. I love to play blues, but also do a lot of classic rock. As of late, you will find me on stage 45 weeks a year with the fabulous Johnny Myers as The Perrine Myers Band. Now and then, the remarkable Bryan Oleachea joins us on drums.
hi my name is john myers
I started performing in front of an audience at age 14 and have continued for 25+ years on both guitar and bass. Through the years, I have played with local groups such as the Robin Turley Band, Electric Taxi, Black Hills Express and Fade to Blue. I have performed with Ferlin Husky and have opened for Mickey Gillie and Johnny Cash at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Additionally, I have performed at the Western Washington State Fair in Puyallup, the county fair in Centralia and the Grays Harbor County Fair in Elma. I sing a variety of songs from classic rock, country, fifties to the blues. I am currently performing with Barney Perrine as The Perrine Myers Band. Together we can please any audience and will cater to your needs.
