The concept of Permanent Midknight since its inception is to create something new from a group of very talented musicians. Bryan and former singer Kliph had been working together on many music projects most notably with the now defunct Sedative. Once Sedative vanished Bryan and Kliph started to search for new musicians that had the same views as they do. The project was named Permanent Midknight.
After months of searching and and trying out many members for the band, enter Morris. Morris (AKA Jive) has been playing guitar for many years and immediately established 6 songs with the now 3 piece. A month later Steven is brought in the band and brings 3 more songs. Finally we bring in the now former bass player in Clark Brantly.
Permanent Midknight decided to take the show on the road and play countless shows with some great bands ending 2003 with a successful sellout show at local venue Tremont Music Hall.
Now it is 2004. Kliph and Clark had decided to leave the band so the search was on. Immediately Jive steps up to the plate and brings in Ben Horton and Givit Hel. So far everything has been nothing but positive and a new darkness has been unleashed on the NC metal scene. PMK is here to stay for a long time.

Bryan Taylor: Drums
Bryan Taylor is the drummer and founder of PMK. Bryan started the band after going thru many bands and tired of limiting himself to standard riffs and the politics that goes into music. With this band finally set in concrete Bryan thinks that this creation is a new thriving force to be reckoned with.
Ben Horton: Vocals
Ben joined Permanent Midknight in May of 2004. Ben is also the singer for the band Nvain. Ben is a showman on stage and gets everyone involved in the show.
Morris "Jive" Tarlton: Guitars

Givit Hel: Bass Guitar
Givit is a well traveled bass player and has been in countless bands touring throughout the southeast. Givit joined the band in June 2004 and will without a doubt add amazing skill and energy to Permanent Midknight.
Steven Lopez: Guitars
Steve is the Almighty Left Channel Of DEATH! This is Steve's first official band. Steve is determined to bring metal back to it's roots.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. We have Play regionally and love it. Everytime we go on stage is a special moment to us.
