Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Pensyve formed in January of 2001 with the ultimate goal of giving every open ear the chance to hear our music, and for those who are often called crazy or insane to see that they are far from alone. Our music is created with our darkest moments in mind. We draw our inspiration from uninspired moments. In short, this music is a middle finger thrown in the face of all opposition.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Live shows are our main priority, and pretty much what we're known for. It's high-emotion and high-energy, and it gives us a chance to directly interact with our listeners, which is the very reason we feel we are alive. Without expression and release, the spirit dies, and the body is soon to follow.
Your musical influences
We are inspired by almost anything that is original and creative, but some of our bigger influences are Pantera, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Korn, Drowning Pool, Slayer, System of a Down, Black Sabbath (of course), Ozzy, Motley Crue, and Mudvayne.
What equipment do you use?
Our equipment changes pretty frequently, but equipment is practically irrelevant. What we are known for is our dynamic and explosive live show.
