Who is P-Da-One? Well the name speaks for itself. P being me (Preston Reed) "Da one you come to see". Da writer, da rapper, da producer, is bring a new sound to Austin. It is nothing like anything you've heard from Texas. From the beats to the verses, it's sure to keep your heads shakin', and your ears listenin' to every word. You see, I'm master mining the takeover of rap music as we know it.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I was born in Houston,TX April 1983. We moved to Dallas when I was about 2, then to Austin when I was around 10. It would be here, were I'd fine my true love for music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Well, seeing how I've been working on my album and starting my label. I haven't had time for many shows, but I do love to do them, and will be looking into doing more very soon.
Your musical influences
I'm influenced by all the people in music who never understand the word "can't".People like: Russell Simmons, Sean"P-Diddie"Cones, Master P, Tupac, Jay-z, Motown, etc.
