Paul Lasko
Paul Lasko is a multi-talented instrumentalist and vocalist from Central Jersey. He was formally taught on keys at 6 years old and strapped on his first guitar in his sophomore year of high school. He also plays bass and a bit of drums. Paul was in a small local garage band called Junesque which broke up in late 2005. He attempted to make a more serious band bringing back two members from Junesque to form The Arrowheads. The Arrowheads met for two practices and then the project failed. Now on his own, he covers The Beatles, writes and records his own music, and performs live for the Seton Hall University community. All his recordings are self-made with most instrumentation played by himself.
As of mid-May 2010, he is a member of the band Amaretto who you can find on Facebook!

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I joined Amaretto in mid-May 2010 after winning third place of SHU's Got Talent at Seton Hall University. We've been playing local bars and also had a show at The R Bar on Bowery in NYC in July 2010.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've played at Open Mic Nights at Seton Hall. It's a lot of fun covering The Beatles and playing some of my own stuff. The Beatles' music really seems to electrify the crowds. It's not played enough these days.
I've played live with Amaretto at various venues such as The R Bar in NYC, The Pourman's Pub in Manville, NJ, an outdoor carnival, and other places. As of now we're not playing live shows but will resume in 2011.
Your musical influences
The Beatles, collectively and individually. They were great performers. Some other influences are Coldplay and Keane.
I try to emulate the bass playing style of Paul McCartney with intricate bass lines that transcend a simple "walk."
