The word "Band" is a little overstated - since in reality its only me. I played for many years in rock bands but eventualy had to give it all up when marriage, children and the need to pay the mortgage took precedence. I always continued playing at home - much to my wife's annoyance. A couple of years ago I bought a digital recorder and have never regretted it.
Band/artist history
I've played in loads of bands but I can't summon up the enthusiasm to list them now.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not since about 1988. Last gigs were in pubs/clubs in and around London with a band called Aardvark and no Money. Pretty terrible name but apt if nothing else.
Your musical influences
Kansas, Jethro Tull, Dream Theater, Satriani, Steve Morse, Steve Vai, Deep Purple - not necessarily in this order.
What equipment do you use?
BR1600cd hard disc recorder
Fender, Ovation and Yamaha guitars
Roland Fantom Xa & Juno 60 polysynths
Yamaha Motif XS7 and electric piano
Roland GR20 guitar synth
Vox Tonelabs amp modeller
I had better stop now before the wife works out how much I have spent.
Anything else?
Hope you like the music! If you do, I have a CD containing an hours worth of original music available now! Send me an email for details. You know it makes sense!

Hi Paul,
I came back to your site for another listen and checked out 'The Vinyl Word' and it is HOT! The kind of thing I'd want playing loud on my radio as I head down the freeway. Great job!
Cheers,
Michael
Hi Paul, thanks for stopping by and checking out my music - much appreciated! Enjoyed your track The Vinyl word - great sound, I hear a lot of progressive rock elements in the track. Excellent stuff!
Great sound, good mixing. Did you record this on the BR1600?
