Patrick Parents is one of Baltimores Newest MC's, having been in the rap game for under a year and has already started creating a local buzz in some of Baltimore's Night Clubs, Poetry Slams, Open mic's and local parties. Patrick Started his musical journey when he was 6 as he taught himself how to play the drums through watching other drummers,asking questions and learning the structure of music. As time progressed 10 years down the line Patrick took some time away from the drums to learn the piano. He currently is the musician for the 11th hour ministries located on Frederick AVE.and Pulaski street. In january of 2007 Patrick decided to pick up the art of hip-hop as a hobbie, which he had done in a earlier time in his childhood. Having peformed in front of his church he relized the passion he once had for it. Later after talking to a few good people and taking classes. He taught himself how to audio engineer to prevent from expensive studio time prices. Having only a cheap "pre-amp "mic "home made" pop filter made out of female tights, a bookbag which held his rhyme book as he commuted throught the city on local buses subways and other means of public transportation, and software he created such singles as "Top 8" "Missing you" and "Take The Pain". As time moved Foward he started making progress in his engineering song writing and even picked up producing. Upgraded his studio adding a keyboard, TriggerFinger, a better Mic, surface controller and some a pair of 4'8 monietrs opposed to the old desktop speaker he had currently been using. Later down the line he established his own independant record label know as "BIGGERPICTURE entertainment". He states he chose this name because his ultimate goal to is to give people the "bigger picture" of being entertained not just through music as BIGGERPICTURE is currently in the process of writing a film that will be show at next years Baltimore Film Festival. The Label houses such artists as "Baby Boy" "Diamond P" "Black Mob Records" which includes "Yung Spence" and "Lil Tae" and "Young Money" He currently has finished up which would have been his first CD "The Struggle to find myself" which he decided he would release as a FREE DEMO to the public which is avalible early october stating that it there were alot of "Rookie Mistakes" and Immaturity,because he was new to the game. But now feels that he' more settle and in his comfort zone . He is often noted for choice not to use profanity in his music, saying that when your music is clean its ALOT easier to get noticed not to mention that he feels when alot of profanity is used it shows an artists lack of vocabulary to express how they feel. He is Currently working on his First and Last Album "The Death Of Patrick Parents" in which he states he will verbally kill his Rapping career/character, which is just a metophor for saying he will be done with Rapping after this album and will use this CD to get his foot in the door. Upon doing that he plans to just sit back produce and help the people around him get were they wanna be. He thanks god for blessing him with the "Gift" he has Given him. Also his supporters and listners of his music. Most Notably Tyesha Daye. Whom was THE ONLY ONE who belived that he would get this far when no else did and laughed at the idea (including friends co-workers and even his at the time Girlfriend)Have you performed in front of an audience?to many to list
