I've been playing Acoustic Classic Rock for the past 25-30 years. Under the direction of Studio Wizard Dave Roy I got the CD "So Jennerous" out in early 2003 and hope to have the next project "Second Coming..." in the can someday.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formative Years (1983-1986) I cut my teeth performing in and around the Pittsburgh area in support of my dear friend, the late "Mark Q". TempesT (1992-1995) I joined forces with some fellow Navy folks to include Scott Jones (Guitar/Voc), Brian Ernst (Bass/Voc), Mark Sayers (Guitar/Voc) and Augustin Garcia (Drums/Cocker Spaniels) while stationed abroad in Rota, Spain. "TempesT" was our name. Initial Recordings (1993-1995) My first studio recordings were Flip Side of the Coyne and On the House recorded at Huelva Studios (East), in Rota Spain under the leadership of Producer/Bluesmaster and TempesT bandmate Mark Sayers. Return to The States (1995-2000) Not long after arriving back state-side, Huelva Studios (West) opened in Virginia, where I cultivated my style. It was during this settling-in period where Bruce Hornsby called and asked if I was looking for a gig? The Rest of the Story. (2000-Present) Arriving IVO Baltimore in late 2000, I carved a solo-acoustic niche for myself. Between 2000-2008 I was involved in several projects: Black Irish (2001) With the Always Alternative Mary Powers. The Rams Head (Savage, MD) was our arena. Squid Pro Quo (2002-2006) Where Multi-Instrumentalist Dave Roy and myself took the culminations of our "So Jennerous" CD (I wrote/sang/ played, / Dave played on & produced) to the Masses!! Leadbetters Tavern, (where the music was LIVE EFN!!!) is where we gave generously. The BOHICAs (2003-2005) With with Soulful Songstress Olivia Goglia, (and Bre'r John P. Holloway sittin' in for several sessions...) We strode between Leadbetters Tavern, The Admirals Cup, Galway Bay (Play Danny Boy!!), and The Last Chance Saloon. Seventh Son (2008-2009) A Dynamic Duo with Tommy Michelle on percussion. We found our groove at the Nautical Lounge in Pasadena, MD and Second Chance Saloon in Columbia, MD. The Letching Grey's (2010) A Classic Corps featuring Multi-Instrumentalist (Flute, Fiddle, Sax, Guitar, Mandolin) and Singer Ron Hanchar and I covering the Deeper Cuts of Acoustica (Firefall, The Beatles, Jethro Tull, Pure Prairie League, & the Marshal Tucker Band) We strode familiar grounds at the Nautical in Pasadena MD and Second Chance Saloon in Columbia, MD. Semi-Retirement (2011-Present) I took a well-timed & Much-Needed respite in 2011 to focus on my day-job and fulfill my educational dreams. Friends and followers have encouraged me, but my first career keeps me fully occupied. Reunion Tour?? Someday. (Maybe??) /-) CUNICU, dywidy PC
