I got to your page through the Faure "Pavane" -- this has been one of my favorites since college (and that was a long time ago!). this performance brought tears to my eyes. Just gorgeous, just about perfect.... I've added you to my soundclick and look forward to hearing your clarinet playing.

Oh man! I'm impressed! You are amazing at the clarinet, I'm like speechless. I've seen that Poulenc Sonata: Allegro Con Fuoco, and you played that extremely well. With my current instrument, I can't even get some of those notes to even come out! (erg stupid plastic clarinets hahaha)

B.T.W., if you ever a chance to play Herbert Howells' Clarinet Sonata, I'd recommend it . It's a stunner of a piece, and would suit both your tone and level of technique remarkably well! :O)

Nice playing! I played alot of these pieces in university as well. It brings back memories, as I haven't some of heard of this repertoire in years. You have a nicely centered tone, a facile technique and excellent musicianship. Thanks for sharing. If you get a chance, take a listen to a Clarinet Concerto I composed. It's sort of in the vein of the Finzi Concerto, and other British clarinet music. Keep on practising and playing!! Cheers.

This is good music. About 10 years ago, I figured out that many band leaders allow the brass and/or percussion to drown out the woodwinds. I appreciate the clarinet!
