Band/artist history
Pat McGill’s first national exposure as a Sonic Records recording artist was on February 11th on the WB’s television show “Fast Track To Fame” which aired in more than 100 markets across the country, and the first single “Feelin’ No Pain,” is currently being played on local stations (99 Hits 99.3 & Q Country 102.9) as regular rotations, as well as many more stations across the East Coast, from New York to North Carolina. The Video is also being played in several other markets, and recently won the “Viewers Video Choice” award online, where it competed against 18 other videos, receiving 26 percent of the votes. CMT (Country Music Television) has also shown interest in the video, and is currently being considered for a spot the networks show “Rising Star.” As an entertainer, McGill has traveled to 46 states in the U.S., and 21 countries, performing music since 1989 in various venues, ranging from the smallest nightclubs, to playing under the Eiffel tower in France. With 11 songs already recorded, McGill is half way to releasing his debut album “North Country,” due out summer 2006.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
The best part about creating a song and getting it recorded, is playing it to a live audience. It's a one-of-a-kind feeling. Send me an e-mail (pat@patmcgillmusic.com) to see when i'm coming to your area...i'f i'm not, send me some info. on your favorite club where you'd like to see me...
Your musical influences
Merle Haggard, Dwight Yokam, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Diamond Rio, Chris Isaak, a few guitars, an entire orchestra and some rock fell into a blender, which were mixed at an intense speed...what do you get? Download and see...
What equipment do you use?
Alvarez guitars and mandolins, and Shure microphones
Anything else?
