Pat Kelly
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
There are things in my life I would have changed but, if I did...what would I write about?" p. kelly
Pat Kelly, the songwriter who sings, is a veteran of North American tours, and even performed for Queen Elizabeth II in the 70's. In the 80’s and 90’s Kelly was often the voice behind many radio and television spots. He fronted several new wave bands, produced some albums and garnered mild acclaim in the independent market as a prolific songwriter and collaborator. He has been seen and heard on stage or in the studio with the likes of Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson (David Bowie), Tony ‘Wild T’ Springer, The Star Combo (John Gustafson, Griff Griffiths, Tony Newman, Howie Casey etc.), Michael White, The Temptations and just about every new wave act that came out of Toronto in the 80's.
Kelly is a multi-instrumentalist and his "...words are vignettes and his voice and songs, with their many changes, make it impossible for one to peg him, classify him, as though he is consciously refusing to sound like something we have all heard before. This concentrated talent is rare." Garageband.com
