P.A. Sportz “It’s Not a Game” is an album compilation of East Palo Alto’s finest artists. The initial concept is the result of creative energy of Blak Muke’s and his middle brother, Ya Boi Boo, which later they added the youngest brother Bacadada. With so much talent coming from such a small part of the Bay “East Palo Alto” the compilation kept evolving from a mix tape into an album. This created such a buzz that more and more artist were trying to be apart of it up until the last minute. Blak Muke took some of his best material at the time, with a dash of his rhythmic hooks and some top collaboration to produce 20 tracks of slappin’ pure heat. It is the best of the best all on one album.
The compilation features many seasoned artists who have been representing East Palo Alto over two decades. The album also spotlights some of the new comers who are up to bat to the rap game, but all are veterans to EPA and The Bay Area. Many well-known artists contributed to this compilation, such as Guce, Sean T, Mac & AK, Dem HoodStarz, with a special cameo from Ad Capone of Totally Insane which certifies hood. Blak Muke is the pioneer behind this compilation and also a native of East Palo Alto himself. His label “Expansion Team” is the spearhead behind this must have compilation that features EPA alumni, keeping EPA on the map as factor of the Big Bay movement.
Blak Muke is also the founder of S.O.S Beatz which features the production of most of the tracks on this album. S.O.S Beatz is led by Blak Muke and co-producer JuJu onda Beatz (aka Julius Lewis), who joined the production team in 2006. Special thanks to all the artists involved: Mac & A.K., Doc Louie, G.T.A. (Nutt and B-Jada), Stack Cheese, Dem Hoodstarz, M-Dash, Kaz Kayzah (of The Team), Guce(Bully’s Wit Fully’s), Jet Black, Danja Mouf, S.I.C., Mind Trapp, Yola, Sean-T, Rick Da Rula, Ya Boi Boo, Bacadada, Bino, Madam Alizay, Chunk, Sleez, Quikk Faz, Kal Killa, Collect, Miz Dre, Shake, King Cydal, Money Mont, Biv The Kid, Keyanna Bean, Eboni Black, Roddy Bo, and Dre Hyph.
