I have been making music now for about 8 years or so.. and have progressed a lot.. I have experimented with many different types of sound.. from noises that makes your head hurt to more ambient style stuff.. recently i have been making music for non profit games.. and that has been going well.. but i am soon to make a new cd that is more industrial / experimental.. with singing.. oh yea.. i have gone under many different names.. from cpx to x-bit to lift to the unresolved puppet.. to slef but Parapraxis has stuck now for a couple years..
Band/artist history
Like i said about 8 years now.. worked off and on with a friend of mine Dim Nostreak.. but we have had a falling out due to heroin addictions that we both share...
I recently was told i am now considered to be in remission... but uhh.. yea..... Maybe someday both Dim and myself will be strong enough to make music together.. but probably not.. considering such a large amount of our drug use happened when we made music together...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Lets see.. Two times.. and was going to many other times but things always fell through.. no one really appreciates such things around here.. but those two times were awesome experiences...
Your musical influences
Anything having to do with Cevin Key and Ogre.. meaning.. Skinny Puppy, Download, Ohgr.. and so on.. and other groups ....anyone who is willing to explore sound in various ways pretty much sums up my influences
What equipment do you use?
Computer 2.3 ghz.. 556 mb ram.. 80 gig harddrive, cubase sx, acid pro 4.0, creative wave studio.. logic, roland usb midi interface... synths = yamaha psr-gx76, novation ks4, korg ms2000.. drummachine = korg er-1 drumset = pearl guitar = fender .. i have a static machine.. a circuit bent toy.. guitar peddles... some acoustic instruments.. etc etc...

I really like your songs! Plus anyone that lists Download/Cevin Key as an influence has got to be cool.

Hey dude, I've been listening to you recently. Holy sh** , you're f*** ing amazing. I can't even describe how much your music creeps me out/moves me... it puts me in just the right kind of crazy mood. I use it as backing music for my V:tR games. Love it. Are you still making stuff? Is there a better site to use than this to find your music? Many thanks, and keep up the good work.
