Papa Shango
Papa Shango play an unholy mix of metal/thrash/punk/rock/grunge/jazz/funk/hillbilly/electro that astounds and impresses new fans to the genres whilst simultaneously alienating existing fans of said genres.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Mike (guitar), Dave (drums) and Chris (bass) formed in June 2003 and Wayne (vocals/samples) joined in July, just in time to kick some arse in the Battle Of The Bands.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live whenever we can...fo sho.
We played a Battle Of The Bands in August 2003 and came second in out heat, then fifth in our semi-final (the first four bands went through to the grand final).

Allsorts...Deftones, Tool, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Get Up Kids, the Dillinger Escape Plan...
What equipment do you use?
It's normal instruments all the way, baby!
