Pale

San Francisco, CA  USA
February 22, 2004
...old-school synthpop artists successful in the early 90’s, Pale swept the greater Bay Area and the Central Valley with their unique and exciting sound. A large loyal fan base, including comedian Margaret Cho and Live 105 DJ Steve Masters, stems from the interest that Pale generated in 1993. In 2003, Pale’s updated sound and in depth song writing will definitely satisfy loyal Pale fans, while opening the door to a whole new generation of fans...
Band/artist history
from the band: Hi there Pale fans***it's really us. Moon & Paul together again. Paul is now in Sonora and I am in San Francisco. ok some history/info...Pale has enjoyed airplay in San Francisco for a couple of songs, thanks to Steve Masters. We were lucky enough to have played at both the Folsom Street and Castro Street Fairs plus, we played at the now legendary Klubstitute and cable T.V, show The Lavender Lounge back in the day. We went to Sacramento for a KWOD interview special, Paul was interviewed on KCSS and we went to L.A. got signed to Kinetic Records and then dropped... So anyway, we were around, quietly, and it was fun. Some day some label will make a PALE cd comp. There were at least 7 Pale members, including a dancer and a background singer due to changes at various times. Pale was: Moon Trent (1989-2003) Matt Salas (1989-1990), Paul f. Line (1991-1993, 2003), Steve Black ne Steve Boler (1993-1994), Geoff Walters (1993), 1 female singer, Jennifer Walker (1992) and 1 female dancer, Amy Hilpert (1992)... Moon Trent has also sung solo, and for the bands Brown-Star and The Visitors Kimberly among others and Paul records with The Jolly Morticians.
