The exhibits within this beautiful palace were gathered from many states and countries. Germany and Japan were rivals in the extent of space covered, but their rivalry ended there, for their exhibits were radically different. Germany occupied a large area in the northeastern corner, the exhibit was very elaborate. The manufactuerers of fine wares put forth their best efforts with results most credible and interesting. In this building the exhibits were those of art industries, such as art pottery, cut glass and art glass, office and household furniture, brushes, fine leather articles, jewelry, silver smiths' and goldsmiths' wares, clocks and watches, products in marbel, bronze, cast iron, wrought iron, paper hangings and upholsters' decoration.Band/artist history
