Painkillers

We, The Painkillers, Lava Sunder Shrestha on Bass, Kush Sunder Shrestha on Lead Guitar, Kalyan Shrestha on Lead Vocal cum Rhythm and Prashant Sharma on Drums and Percussions make up The Painkillers from Buddhanagar, New Baneshwor, in essence a rock band. The Painkillers formed in 2000 A.D.

The Painkillers, the band formed in 2000 A.D. During the formation of the band; there were six members; Kush(Lead Guitar), Lava(Rhythm Guitar) Jiwesh(Bass), Nilendra and Ravi(Vocal), Prashant(Drums). Jiwesh and Nilendra left the band because of their personal reason.Then Kalyan joins the band to fulfill the emptiness, he acts as a vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Lava is playing bass after Jiwesh lef the band. Now Ravi(vocal), Bijay(vocal) and Gyanendra(Guitar) are also acting as a supportive member.

Since the establishment of the band, the band had performed many stage shows and concerts in many places. The band believes in the live shows more than the recorded one, so that we are not so much keening to record songs but we are thinking to record our songs soon and release the album. All of our Concerts and Stage shows are memorable.

The band is highly influence by 70’s and 80’s metal bands like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Joe Satriani, Iron Maiden, etc.
