Oversize

Hi, my name's Mike. I'm from Chicago and am now living in Germany where I'm studying and making music with my band Oversize. We're not so great with words as far as the "bios " goes, because, actually we believe only the music can discribe a band in the best way. Everybody has different tastes, and no matter what we would write down here about the things we've done with our band so far - the stages we've been on or the places we've been - (we were only on stages in Germany, so no we haven't played near your town yet-although it would be something we'd love and be looking forward to do) -we still think it's best to just let you have a listen, and hope you like what you hear. And thank you for your time, that you dropped by and spent a moment or two. Be sure to stop by some of the other bands here too though. We do believe you'll find some great talents here. Let me send you on your way with these words that at least describe our feelings about what we do. A guy I know once said: " I can live in a world without shoes, but I could never live in a world without music." Thx for your time.
Band/artist history
Since we've only played on stages in Germany (over a 100 bei now), I don't believe anyone would get a pitcure of the places we've been: Hannover, Hamburg, Bremen, Kassel and so on. Outdoors, indoors-you name it, we've been there!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yeah, we play live. Just about anywhere actually. It's the only reason I make music..if I wouldn't be able to go on stage I'd give it up. The best moment ever was reaching the finals of a big Band Contest. These finals were situated in one of the large Clubs I've always wanted to play. We did our thing in front of more than 2 000 people that night. It was awesome.
Your musical influences
Omg, waaaay too many! But to name a few: Matchbox Twenty, Midge Ure, Bruce Springsteen, Lifehouse, Ray Charles, we could write on almost forever...
What equipment do you use?
Marshall, Fender, Gibson.. to name a few
Anything else?
Never underestimate the power of music...it always has a way of influencing you...before you even notice it.
