And with their Wino record label, theyve created one of the most anticipated vocal styles since the late 2Pac Shakur and the Notorious Biggie Smalls-- without the benefit of major radio and video play. Their name is OUTLIVIN, and with their take it to the streets production team Down N Out created to do Audio and video production at Dark Room Studios, ground braking breath of fresh air clothing line NUTTY WEAR and their ear candy story telling ability with eye catching concepts, OUTLIVIN will be firmly established as one of the most talented teams the music industry has ever seen. Born Tommy Thompson, Jr. (a.k.a. Khlis The real L.U.V. Charlee Brown) in St. Louis, Missouri and Michael Thompson (a.k.a. Knighk a.k.a. Holy) in Memphis, Tennessee. c.k.a. OUTLIVIN. In 1991 OUTLIVIN fronted another local rap group called the 3 MCs with there cousin Kenny Mills a.k.a. Dog Ass Dinky. Within a couple of month they went from second grade freestyling to writing eye catching songs. OUTLIVIN performed on the street corners and in the living rooms of their family and friends. writing controversial songs such as Skidrow, March In Step, and Story Tellers. Being on stage, OUTLIVIN is at their best. their stage show is undoubtedly one of the groups strengths. performing in such hostile venues as The Playas Club, Madders, the Coconut Lounge, and The Civic Center all in Forrest City, AR a small town of about 7,500 people crowds ranged from 20 to 2000 people. within these underground HIP HOP/ R&B Clubs OUTLIVIN had a chance to strengthen their stage performance and move on to other venues such as the club 2 for 1s, the New York State Fair, Jubellee Park, The Anual Juneteenth, Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY the Convention Center in Blytheville, AR. OUTLIVIN also were booked to perform at a National Star Search contest hosted by Hot92 held in Little Rock, AR and placed 5th over all out of 400 performers. OUTLIVIN hit the radio with Whattie What at 105.3 in Halina, AR on the pump it or dump it radio show and reigned as champions for 3 weeks in a row. and till this day OUTLIVIN is still getting Mid-South regional coverage as one of the most sought after Southern Hip Hop Duos. The DOWN N OUT production team is Carlos Los Lett, Sal Tasari, and Darrell Brown headed by KNIGHK him self, as superstar producers in the making D.N.O. is able to control the highest in quality studios such as Pro Jams Studios in New York City, Ruff Beat Studios in Syracuse, NY Dark Room Studios in Syracuse, NY and Dirty Studios in Moss Point, MS. DOWN N OUT brings out the raw sound and is on track to master the art of creating true music in song form working with such equipment as the MPC2000, the Fastex FD8, Roland303, and various digital mix boards with state of the art mixing software such as the Cakewalk programs, Sound Edit Pro. Vegus and Pro Tools. The DOWN N OUT production team are the ideal producers any team would love to work with as they blaze a trail for OUTLIVIN with such songs as: W. I. N. O., RunAway, Shake It, Skid-row, Ballin, Cho-Cha, and What You Wanna Do. Catching the attention of manager K. Qashim Salaam OUTLIVIN moved to Syracuse, NY and began working with Salaams management company Blue Lyon Management with aspirations of getting a recording contract with a major record label or a minor label with major distribution. Blue Lyon representatives negotiated a label deal for Harlem Knight Ent. which included OUTLIVIN, the group in conjunction with Blue Lyon Management has put this package together and is preparing to shop a deal in the first quarter. with 54 songs recorded OUTLIVIN since changed focus and are preparing to release their self titled debut album in the latter part of the first Quarter of 2004 on their own Wino Records and Harlem Knight Ent. On Point recording artist Seth Marcel features on the album as well as well as label mates Down South and Get Back. OUTLIVIN also is preparing to appear on the Harlem Knight Ent/Red Brick Records compilation also set to be released first quarter 2004 on Lite-Year distribution a division of the WE Music Group. Currently featured on several mixtapes Outlivin is well on their way to the top of the music scene.
