Oscar Stonehill
Oscar Stonhill is a singer/songwriter who ambitiously works his way through music business. He is releasing an EP titled "Burnt diaries" during 2005. The EP is currently under production.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Oscar Stonehill has been making music for ages. Born in 1982, Stonehill began his musical career in a band called Jester when he was 12 or something. Nowadays Oscar is making his way through singer/songwriter credits, but he's also the lead vocalist of a pop/rock/funk/soul crew "Souldrive".
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. I attend every gig possible. I think warmly about a gig @ Semifinaali (HEL, FIN) where me and my mate Tommy threw a wonderful acoustic gig.
Your musical influences
R.E.M, Dave Matthews Band, Ryan Adams and everything that gets beneath your skin.
What equipment do you use?
I play Landola Jumbo Custom acoustic and I sing into various microphones. Preferring to use Shure SM 58 and AKG C 3000B.
