Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Øyvind Rogstad is a classically trained and sought-after pianist with an impressive resume. He has been and still is playing with top notch people in every genre from classical to musicals and pop. He always delivers true musical craftsmanship from his piano.
Øyvind mainly works with writing and arranging music at Ormen Lange. His extensive knowledge of musical styles and forms of expression makes him a valuable asset in the production of music for moving images. You can hear him fly over the keys on several of Ormen Lange's productions. He also plays bass and sings.
Lars Ludwig Sandell started out as a live and studio drummer at the age of 16, and has been in the music business since. Ludwig has produced and played on several albums, done numerous jingles and worked on stages all over the world as a drummer, a guitarist and as a singer.
At Ormen Lange, Ludwig writes, records and produces the tracks. He also plays guitar, drums and percussion. Having worked as a session musician in a variety of styles is a true advantage when it comes to producing and performing music custom made to fit our customers’ needs.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah we do play live, not as a band yet, but we both have gigs playing with others.
