Orang Goreng
Orang Goreng is what you get when you allow one mixed up individual access to instruments and a computer.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been around for a number of years yet seem to produce at a rate of one song per year.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Orang Goreng has no immediate plans to perform live. Ever. I don't have enough hands.
Update: I have changed my mind. I now have a nearly complete line-up of friends who may very well form my backing band.
Your musical influences
'60s film and TV soundtracks, especially Italian library music. Australian post-punk. Yèyè and gogo. Gainsbourg. '60s garage rock.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars, bass, organ, microphone, drum software. I have yet to discover MIDI.
Anything else?
These days I mainly play guitar in a band called "Pony Pack". See myspace.com/ponypack
