Orange for Anguish

No band, just a man without a cat, a home studio, and too much free time...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Joined a punk band, Stagnant Water, when I was in my teens and recorded a couple of albums (cassettes actually), moved on to heavy semi-progrock with Exotropia, then had a kid and got married and divorced and started playing in cover bands (I think my divorce affected me deeply, I never thought I would be onstage playing Boogie Oogie Oogie until I died and went to hell). Now I just amuse myself with Sonar and inflict it on you.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Occasionally, bust mostly in covers bands. I am currently on swing shift and unable to inflict sonic mayhem on the local dive bars. Maybe I should join a church group...
Your musical influences
Rush, Satriani, Vai, Tool, The Cure, KING's X (probably THE most underrated band ever), Van Halen, Peter Gabriel.. just about anything with no TWANG.
What equipment do you use?
Presonus Inspire into Sonar. Johnson J-Station, Fender Stage 1000, Gallien-Kruger 2100 SEL, a couple of cheap mics and any guitar I can lay my hands on. The guitar and vocals (IF I get drunk enough) are the only "real" instruments. Everything else is sequenced in vst synths or samples.
